Rescue dogs at the vet clinic where I work.
Top color- deep red with black tipped sable. Longhaired dachshund mix.
Bottom color- cream (recessive red) with Dudley nose. Siberian husky mix.
Examples of the extremes of dark and light red in domestic dogs. I’ve seen lighter (silver, mistakable for true white), but I don’t think I’ve seen a darker red coat.

Lol not many people who meet my dogs understand color genetics.. to most people everything is called brown. My red brindle dogs = brown. My red/sable dog = lighter brown. x3
