...At First Glance
Red Fox's original form stands at 5'3"/160cm and looks like a blend between the characteristics of her parent species and those of humans. She is covered in fur and has the feet, tail, and head of a canine. Her hands are human shaped and clawed. In modern times she rarely uses this form.

In animal form she appears as a normal red fox.

Her human form is the same height as her hybrid form and has copper skin and black hair that reaches nearly down to her elbows. She has what she would describe an "average beauty," and does not bother with makeup, jewelry, or fancy hairstyles. She is often seen in simple shirts and skirts featuring combinations of black and scarlet, her favorite colors.

...Skin Deep
Red Fox is most content when things stay simple and don't deviate too much from routine. Though she enjoys traveling with her husband, Gray Fox, she is less enthusiastic about using her Power to help humans. Sure, some are a pleasure to spend time with, but there is only so much stupid she can take when it comes to fixing people's problems.

She can be quite judgmental, constantly measuring a person's worth to herself, her family, or society in general. People who are judged worthy of her attention are treated warmly, often with a hint of maternal affection. People who irritate or offend her will be treated to sarcastic comments. Children are seen as holding hidden potential, so she is more patient with them than adults. She may playfully tease her husband, but they rarely argue and he never interferes when she starts getting snippy with someone.

Her brother in law, Coyote, is a source of both stress and confusion. All her instincts tell her to abandon him to his fate, and she will even go so far as trying to convince her husband to let him stay dead. At the same time she recognizes the help he has provided to her husband and the humans. She likes to think she is an excellent judge of character, and is frustrated by how Coyote defies her system for categorizing people. She tries not to give him too much attention when he shows up because of the headaches it will bring, but he can still push her buttons if he feels like it.

Favorite things include snuggling with her husband, children, traveling, knitting, and studying the medicinal properties of plants.

...All Work And All Play
In ancient times Red Fox helped humans learn how to make medicine from plants and harness Power left by the Creator to make healing spells. Much of this knowledge has been discarded as humans took to science to solve their problems, but she maintains a collection of plants and objects for healing. Her Power allows her to sense when people nearby are sick or injured. She is more reluctant to approach them than her husband in his crusade to save people in danger. She does not like being rejected when she tries unconventional things, and she is also worried about attracting public attention. Her main use of her abilities in modern times is patching up her husband after he hurts himself on his heroic escapades.

Sometimes she will settle down with Gray Fox for a few years, take on a human identity, and raise children. She loves being a mother, and creates a strict yet affectionate environment for her families. Her children are able to shapeshift, but they are born mortal. She ages her human form for as long as she can, then leaves before it becomes suspicious. She has done a better job of keeping track of and visiting her grandchildren and other descendants than her husband, but even she doesn't know how many she has by now. During these times she looks for jobs that combine her interests with her Power, such as school nurse.

... Everything In Between
Unlike Gray Fox and Coyote, Red Fox represents a more typical animal spirit approach to modern life. Humans have grown more corrupt and intimidating over the years, and though she can stand to sometimes live among them she does not want them to remember what she is. Gray Fox remains hidden for privacy and Coyote to better surprise people, but Red Fox and many others are driven more by fear. She would be happy if she could spend the rest of her immortality without being stalked or worse. Though she feels some degree of affection for humans after seeing the race grow from infancy, she is by now more interested in living for herself and her family.

Another supporting character for Coyote’s stories. He just loves finding new ways to tick her off.

Red Fox sounds like the most docile creature you have created (with the exception of the oh so lovable Dog)

This answers all of the questions that I had after reading Gray Fox. She fills in his gaps with her opposites. It's funny because she seems like a very "good" character but then you notice the subtle things. Like her not her not being too inclined to use her spells on other people or rush to help them (unlike her husband)

That really makes the character well-rounded.
