Loki and Sleipmutt

I rarely do fan art for someone on dA unless their story really moves me, and this is one of those rare cases. ’s Loki is one of the most exciting and well written things I’ve ever discovered here [link]

Summary:
The story revolves around the “gods,” a group of people who have discovered they possess immortality and the power to manipulate reality. The protagonist decides to take on the identity of Loki to give the world its Designated Trickster Figure, and is all kinds of awesome.

This is a bit of a mythology in-joke, since Loki likes dogs but does not actually give birth to a mutant canine in the story. Sleipmutt is based on a Jamthund, or Swedish Elkhound.
