I blame this on my Asperger’s syndrome (an autistic spectrum disorder). =P
Sometimes in unpleasant social situations I like to imagine what it would be like to be able to communicate like animals do (especially cool predators like wolves, dogs, and cats). In some ways animals can be so much easier to read and understand than humans. =)

:jawdrop: Oh, and I always think I'm the only one who do this. I very often find myself thinking "now I really regret I don't have tail, 'cause if I do, I would be able to say it". Sometimes I think if I was a wolf, all communication would be really easier. Funny :D.

Do you want to see wolves?

So do I xD I thought I had problems because I often imagine that...

I'm sure it's more common than we would imagine, although Asperger’s itself is a pretty rare disorder.

I don’t know what other kinds of things can cause thoughts like this, but people with Asperger’s are often obsessed with animals. =)

In my house (most of my family falls on the borderline of aspergers), we actually put our hands over our heads, pretend they're ears, and turn them back or forwards to indicate emotion. Well, sometimes. We also use over-exagerated voices and faces and body language. And we meow. And we shout or sing with each other, sort of verbal stimming.

:) When we're not upset because of miscommunication, yeah, we are. I think life would be perfect if we all learned to deal with conflict better, but life's not shabby as it is.

eh the lack of expersable emotion in the human body really anoys me. lots of times somone will be talking to me, and my ears would be pinned back, my tail between my legs and the hair standing up all down my back. Only the person I'm talking can't see this and that leads to comunication problems.

That’s a good way to describe it. There’s always looking at faces, but that can be intimidating if you don’t like to look people in the eyes. Some nice big ears would be useful for expressing emotion quickly and at a distance. =p
