Scarecrow's zombie drug (5/16/11)
In a kind of alternate reality in Batman's storyline the Scarecrow had made himself infamous for his ability to show up anywhere in the world to randomly terrorize people. He had just developed a drug that would allow him to bring dead people back to life as zombies, and for some reason this finally pushed people over the edge. A mob came after him, dragged him to a graveyard, threw him in a grave, and killed him. Then they gave him some of the drug to bring him back to life so they could kill him again. After that they left, and some kind of entity appeared in the graveyard. It was female, and kind of like a cross between a fairy and a demon. She brought Crane back to life again for a little while to talk to him, and explained that her job was to travel the world and amplify people's fears to drive them into a panic. She said that he had kept her very busy, bringing so much new fear into the world, and now she would be equally busy removing it as people learned he was dead and calmed down. This gave him a sense of pride, knowing he had left such an impact on the world, so he was able to die for good with a smile on his face.
Spider chili (8/7/11)
I am back in the old house looking through one of the bedrooms, which is quite messy. A black and red spider that looks like a large black widow comes out from under something and starts chasing me. I run down the hallway to my parent's bedroom, where my brother is on the bed with his laptop. I jump on the bed and tell him about the spider, worrying that it won't show up and that he'll think I'm making stuff up. It climbs up the bed and starts running at him. He is eating a bowl of chili, and he holds it out as the spider jumps at him. It falls in the chili, and then he scoops it out and tosses a big spoonful of chili containing it on the bed. Apparently the best way to kill the spider is to let our dog eat it hidden in the chili, and although I worry it might bite her mouth it doesn't.

This dream is one of the searching kinds in the beginning, with me trying to find medication for a dog. The only part I remember in any detail was at the end when I woke up.
I am in a huge building, similar to a mall even though I started out in a vet clinic. To go down floors you have to use a device that is something like an escalator crossed with Velcro. It is inclined at about a 70 degree angle, and you half stick/half slide down it. In real life I don't like big slides, and in the dream I feel the same way. I try one and nothing bad happens, but it still frightens me so I hesitate to keep using them.
The building is quite spacious, but for some reason I am still in somebody's way. Two male aliens are behind me, humanoid like a species that would fit in Star Trek. One of them is annoyed at me for standing there being afraid to use the slide thing, and he says so to his companion. The other alien says something like, "Have patience. You know that some races have fears of things like this."
I feel embarrassed about holding them up and make myself go down the slide.

This is the end of the line for now. A lot of dreams are just confusing or boring, and I keep forgetting to write the good ones down.
