Countdown to Buttkicking

Trying a full body cutout after doing a few face portraits.

More or less the end result of every Scarecrow story. In a weird way I identify with Crane, often doing things I know are a bad idea and not learning from my mistakes. He’s either going to get himself killed in one of his schemes or get so old and smashed up that he just can’t try anymore, and even though it’s his fault it’s kind of sad.

Materials- handmade natural texture paper from Asia, black construction paper, graphite, glue sticks, x-acto knife.
