That fun time of year where we get to look back on our work and see improvements and trends. Most people post each by year, but I like adding on for a longer record.
January- my last set of hand paintings. Also a special picture since the family dog recently suffered a slipped disk and we don’t know how much longer we’ll have her. February and April- still loving snarly faces, though I try to branch out more. March- first month in four years where I didn’t draw anything. I must have been really busy. May- a (mostly) normal human face! Still too obsessed with creepy things and animals to want to do much else. June, July, August- experimenting with cartoon animals. Sometimes I wonder how many of my watchers are weirded out with how I bounce between stuff like this and horror stories about cannibalism. September and October- Wendigo has gotten cuter since his first appearance as I think less about how he kills stuff and more about how he explores his environment. November- possibly my favorite piece of the year, thanks to December- improving my process of making construction paper cut outs. A great medium to work with since they scan decently and are easy to offer as gifts to friends and family.
Happy New Year.
